Our family got fed up with confusing health advice.

Wake up. Feed the kids cereal. Guzzle coffee. Shove a protein bar in your mouth. Drive the kids to school. Drive to work. Inhale lunch to meet deadlines. Lose focus. Scroll scroll scroll. Pick up the kids from school. Go tooth and nail to get your oldest to eat dinner.

A healthy home-cooked meal…? With what time? Forget it. Quality time with your partner? Forget that too. Scroll scroll scroll. Toss and turn. Repeat.

This lifestyle has become the norm, but it’s not normal and not natural. Our family gets it. We got stuck in that cycle too. It didn’t feel so good

You don’t need a doctorate degree to know that chronic health conditions are more common than ever. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies, hormone imbalances, gut issues, mental health challenges, infertility, nervous system dysregulation, allergies, and more wreak havoc on our communities.

We woke up to the reality of the healthcare system and wellness industry in America. We couldn’t sit by and watch our loved ones struggle to navigate inconclusive doctors appointments with pill pushers telling them to “just relax.”

Meanwhile, half of the wellness community on the internet is pushing ketosis-inducing diets to restore metabolic health while the other half screams vegan, celery juice, and fruit cleanses.

The one thing most parties can agree on is greens are good for you. But if your family is anything like ours (we have 3 little girls!), you know that cooking enough vegetables and then getting your kids to actually eat them isn’t always realistic. So we created MicroPower - to make nutrition simple for the whole family.

Greens are good for you.

Society views healthy eating and exercise as extras. This isn’t the “normal” part of most people’s days and thoughts. It’s a privilege to “have time” to exercise and prepare nutritious meals or “to afford” healthy food and gym memberships.

I have seen this repeatedly in my practice, Calm Pelvic Health. 95% of my patients want to know “how long do I have to do these exercises?” or will observe “I feel great, but when I stop working on my exercises I start to notice my symptoms again.”

Well yeah… because these are things we need to be doing DAILY. If you are not prioritizing your nutrition, movement, and health, then it is not a matter of IF you will have health complications but WHEN.

We need a massive mindset shift. We need to view nutrition and movement as daily parts of our routine. It needs to be a high priority and not the first thing to go if you fall off schedule.

These need to be as routine and prioritized as brushing your teeth. We don’t say “oh well if I have enough time later I might try to brush my teeth.” ….NO you make time to BRUSH YOUR DAMN TEETH.

We aren’t naive and understand that  life gets busy and it can be difficult. That is why we have made it our mission to make nutrition, health, and movement as simple and accessible as possible.

Meet Our Team

Nate

  • Dr. Nate is a physical therapist, father of three beautiful girls, and the founder of MicroPower.

Through his PT practice he found a passion in fostering the physical well being of people from all walks of life. He soon realized that our physical health is only one component of our overall well being, and the need for maximizing our nutritional intake is equally significant.

This led to his discovery of the magical plant we know as microgreens. Such a small plant that packs such a mighty punch. He started a vertical farm in his home and began selling microgreens to his local community, at farmer’s markets, restaurants and to health conscious consumers.

Though this was a successful endeavor, there remained a void left by the fact that these microgreens only reached a niche community, and didn’t satisfy the goal of providing simple access to powerful nutrition for EVERYONE.

Enter, MicroPower… A powder that can be mixed into any dish, drink, or taken in capsule form. A natural method for any person at any point in their lifespan to take charge of their health and well being.

Nate is ready to share this passion project with the world.

  • Nate’s home away from home is the disc golf course. You can also find him mastering human movement through calisthenics, or taking a good ol’ fashioned run in the woods.

  • Raw sunflower microgreens, fresh off the grow tray
