What are microgreens?

Microgreens are vegetables harvested in the early stages of their growth, right after their first set of true leaves emerge, typically between 7-21 days.

At this stage, the greens are super packed with nutrients and flavor. It is estimated that there are 40x the nutrients in microgreens compared to the traditional vegetable.

Among these nutrients are mighty phytochemicals and sulforaphanes, which evidence suggests may promote healthy aging and prevent chronic disease including cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and free radical damage.
